At ISE, Sharp showed a Full-HD 55” LCD video wall display (PN-V551), its first to include “Uniform Colour Calibration Technology” (UCCT). UCCT is an advanced hardware calibration technology usually only found on specialist high end monitors; it ensures consistent brightness and white point uniformity from display centre to edge, and across all displays in a video wall.
Sharp is also expanding its 4K portfolio with the PN-H701 70” display, which offers Sharp’s proprietary UV2A 4K TFT panel technology.
Sharp’s new PN-Y display series and its accompanying ‘No Fuss Signage’ system for simple content management, features a USB media player with an ‘autoplay’ list.
In a series of separate themed areas at ISE 2015, including 4K collaboration, retail, education and interactive zones, Sharp’s Selected Premium Partners showcased a range of integrated solutions aimed at different business environments. The solutions include large, bright monitors for retail, pressure sensitive interactive displays, video walls and digital signage applications, demonstrating Sharp’s UV2A TFT, IGZO and 200Hz IR touch sampling rate technologies.
Also at ISE, Sharp announced its Visual Solutions Reseller Program, a new initiative to recognise and to reward those professional display partners who demonstrate a commitment to Sharp’s products, and a commitment to making Sharp a strategic part of their business.
Benefits include the chance to earn additional margin on certain products, access to qualified sales leads and the support of a Sharp Key Account Manager. Gold accredited partners will also receive advance information on new products to help with their planning cycles.
